The Evolution of the Athlete Coach Education Conference is a two day conference held on the 25th and 26th of October with the option to attend a Speed Development Master Class on the 24th of October and/or the Leadership Master Class on the 27th of October, 2010.
Evolution of the Athlete Coach Education Conference
The conference is non-sport specific, and focuses on the ‘soft skills’ required to be a successful coach, trainer or sports administrator. Delegates will benefit from hearing first hand from some of the leading authorities in coach training, as well as having the opportunity to meet and network with other attending coaching and industry professionals over the two-day program. Speed Development Master Class
This workshop was developed to address the expanding need for both scientific and practical application of the most essential ingredient in sports performance: Speed. The workshop will provide you with access to the same information and training secrets that professional speed and sprint coaches use. Leadership Master Class
Leadership is about ordinary people doing extraordinary things, particularly in the sporting world. This course is designed to enhance personal leadership styles and to support leadership journeys of coaches.
Participants will examine how sports leaders build culture and align it with strategy to effectively transform performance, be it at the individual, team or organisational level. Drawing from contemporary research and consulting, participants will see how the best sports leaders apply their knowledge, skills and influence to achieve outstanding results in rapidly changing environments in the sporting world.
