The venue

The 2009 Evolution of the Athlete conference will be held at The Sebel Citigate Hotel, King George Square, Brisbane CBD.

Situated in the centre of Brisbane and in the heart of the business and shopping districts, The Sebel Citigate Hotel is within walking distance to the Brisbane CBD, the Queen Street Mall, South Bank, the Queensland Museum and the Gallery of Modern Art.

The Evolution of the Athlete Leadership Master Class is at an additional cost to conference delegates and will be held at the UQ Business School Downtown, Level 19, Central Plaza One, 345 Queen Street, Brisbane City. Further details coming soon.

Getting there



Regular Airtrain services run from both the Brisbane Domestic and Brisbane International Airports into Central or Roma Street train stations - both a short walk to the hotel.

The Sebel Citigate Hotel is also a convenient stroll from the King George Square bus station, and the area is well serviced by taxis.

Parking

If you are unable to catch public transport, limited parking is available. Contact the hotel to find out current parking rates. There is also a public car park located opposite the hotel.

Smoking policy

The venue has a no smoking policy. This policy also applies to restaurants, bars and shopping centres in Brisbane.
