Domestic travel

Four domestic airlines fly into Brisbane linking most Australian Capital cities, Virgin, Qantas, Tiger Airways and JetStar.

Brisbane Airport is located 13 kilometres from the city center and has great private and public transport options to the City and its suburbs.

Airtrain operated by Queensland Rail offers a fast, efficient and inexpensive ride into the city centre.

Transfers from the domestic and international airports run every 15 minutes from 6am until 7.30pm and they will take you to Brisbane city (22 minutes). One-way fares between the airport and Brisbane City are about $15 per person.

Shuttle Bus Connections are also offered to all major hotels with a plentiful supply of taxis or private cars. Rent-a-car desks are also conveniently located at baggage claim.

A taxi ride into Brisbane City centre from the airport is approximately $40 dollars.
